- Try adding lemon, lime, or orange slices to a large glass of water. Or better yet, combine them together! If you are looking for more intense flavor, squeeze the citrus into your water.
- Lots of different fruit makes a good flavor to water. Fruits you can try alone or combine are any berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries), mango, kiwi, pineapple, watermelon, cantaloupe, etc.
- Herbs are a great addition as well, like mint leaves or fresh thyme.

Want to make a pitcher of water? Just slice up fresh fruit, herbs, or cucumbers, place in a pitcher. Add cold water and chill for several hours. Here are a few recipes for flavored water in a pitcher:
Citrus Cucumber Water
1 large lemon, sliced
1 large lime, sliced
1 large orange, sliced
1 large cucumber, sliced
1 half-gallon of water
Add all sliced fruit and veggies to a pitcher. Add water. Chill for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to infuse, then serve in glasses over ice.
Honeydew-Lime Water
2-3 slices of ripe honeydew melon
1 lime, sliced
4 sprigs of mint
1 half-gallon of water
Add melon slices, lime slices, and mint sprigs to a large pitcher. Fill with the water and chill 2-4 hours. Serve in ice-filled glasses. Makes 8 servings.
